Ballam and his donkey

Ballam and his donkey is a story in the book of Numbers 22:21 and talks about how GOD blocks our path sometimes and sometimes we fail to see it, we ignore these signs or sometimes we just don't understand the way things go but its important to remember that God has our best interests at heart and will keep us on the right path.

Running

I watched a programme called 'On The Streets' about homeless people in London and it disturbed me how dire their situations were and how far they would go to escape their problems. Everyone battling with their demons whether it is obvious or not are constantly on the run from their pain and inner turmoil; the homeless, alcoholics, drug addicts, those who are anorexic or obese, those who self harm or inflict violence on others, they are all running but every one of them are running to the grave. As it says in Amos 8:9 you can't run from God. You can try to run from your mistakes, you can try to run from your enemies or escape your past. You can try to run from your responsibilities or to hide from your fears but you can't run from God. You can't hide from God because God will seek you out, God will always find you because God will never give up on you.
